Trained as a dancer her whole life, Sara first saw Vinyasa yoga as a natural supplement to her dancing. Though after discovering Shiva Rea’s Prana Vinyasa  in 2006, her commitment to yoga jumped to a whole new level. The guided free form movement and creative, flowing sequencing really resonated; it was like dancing on her mat.   Sara has studied extensively with Shiva Rea, and recently traveled with her to southern India to study Kalarippayatu, one of the most ancient martial art forms.
Yoga has also ignited a deep passion for service work, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and community development, taking Sara from the streets of DC to the streets of Miami, to the mountains of Guatemala, Peru and beyond.  She has also studied with Seane Corne, and is a graduate of the Off the Mat and Into the World Leadership Training Program.

When not on the mat, Sara is a doTERRA Essential Oils Wellness Advocate, works as a documentary film producer and is the mom of an awesome little girl.  Check out Sara’s website!
