This yoga class series is designed for active adults 55+. This series will introduce yoga by acclimating students to the language of yoga, fundamental yoga postures, body awareness, breath work and relaxation. This series will provide you with the know-how and the how-to of yoga movement using clear precise instruction, explaining yoga prop usage and providing an open circle for questions. Students will be introduced to new poses progressively over time creating a strong foundation with which to build upon as your practice grows. Participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor. Please bring a yoga mat and all other props will be provided. Mats are also available to rent at the studio.
