Sherry first came to the mat in search of an alternative to a demanding professional life, and discovered that yoga brought her to a deeper sense of calm and a way to reconnect with her true self. After 15 years of practicing, Sherry turned to teaching as a way to share her joy of yoga. She received her RTY-200 from extendYoga
In class, Sherry helps students explore the mind-body connection through breath, mindful alignment and movement. Her classes balance fun, energetic and creative flow with relaxation and release. Sherry sees yoga as a continuous journey of self-discovery for herself and her students, and encourages students to celebrate their own unique experience with the practice of yoga. Sherry hopes her students walk out of her classes feeling empowered and centered, and ready to engage mindfully in the world.
