Learning to relax and rest is an art that needs to be practiced with patience and compassion towards oneself. In this process, we create stillness in the outer, physical and energetic layers of the body while providing opportunity to quiet and still the mind. In this state of stillness, we are provided with the entry way toward a more rejuvenating and blissful state of being rather than doing. Restorative yoga is a tool for cultivating this practice and allows the time and space for a deep, restful meditation. In this workshop, you will explore the foundational elements to developing a restorative yoga practice that can help build rather than deplete your energy state during times of stress, illness, or even just the busy-ness of everyday life.
