extendYoga strives to provide a positive, nurturing environment that challenges individuals to extend themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We believe in giving back to the community by participating in various charitable causes, and offering community classes and events.

We are conveniently located in North Bethesda between the White Flint and Twinbrook Metro stations and readily accessible from Bethesda, Rockville and Silver Spring. Just off of Randolph Road (northbound) and Twinbrook Parkway (southbound), we have ample, free parking.

Alicia embraces the notion that yogic practice is unique for each individual and is best expressed through authenticity. She often leverages years of corporate work experience with her deep understanding of the mind-body-soul connection to empower students with tools to use on and off the yoga mat. Alicia comes from a family of Kripalu trained yogis and started her personal journey at age 19. She has a passion for eastern healing modalities and uses various techniques to create a sacred space for students to experience the practice of yoga.Yoga frees Alicia to deepen and express her fluidity of truth, wisdom, and inner peace – all while not taking herself or the challenges of life too seriously!  Learn more about Alicia here: www.yogabodydc.com
