Yoga Fundamentals (level 1)
Never practiced yoga? If you want a gentle way to learn more about yoga, this class is for you! In a safe and relaxing atmosphere, students will learn the benefits of yoga, incorporating basic yoga asana (postures), proper breathing, and relaxation techniques. This is an excellent introduction for new students and also great for the intermediate/experienced student looking to fine tune their practice.
Gentle Flow (level 1/2)
For beginners through intermediate students. You’ll be guided through postures in a Vinyasa style, beginning with the basic poses, but allowing for more challenging poses based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. Great class for those who are looking for a gentle experience, new to yoga, or need a change of pace. Also perfect for students with injuries or limitations.
Warm Candlelight (level 1/2+)*
Slow flowing class, where students will synchronize breath with movement in a heated room. Great class for those who want the benefits of the warm room without the speed and intensity that often comes with a vinyasa or power class. Settle your nervous system and get a good night’s sleep! Open and stretch your muscles with slow movement, careful alignment, and conscious breath. It won’t be easy or lazy, just slow, thoughtful, and grounding. This class is not intended for beginner yogis, or students with injuries. approx class temp: ~80 degrees.
A meditate experience for both the mind and body! Restorative and Yin yoga poses require little or no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes. Without the distraction of constant movement and muscle engagement, your connective tissues have the opportunity to stretch and release. Though you will receive intentional guidance during the class to notice any thoughts of sensations arising in your body; this is a practice of silence and stillness. Participants leave feeling grounded, well rested, and nourished; with a new cultivated awareness. No yoga or meditation experience is needed.
In this Vinyasa Flow class you will synchronize breath with movement. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.
A similar class to Flow but in a heated room. Develop skills of concentration and patience that help focus the mind as you deepen your strength, poses and practice, while sweating it out! approx class temp: ~85-92 degrees.
A fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style flow. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. Build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. Expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.
Heated Power / Hot Power*
Similar class as Power Flow, but in a heated room. Bring a towel and water! All levels are welcome (unless otherwise noted), but some yoga experience is suggested. approx class temp: ~85-92+ degrees for “Heated”; 92+ for “Hot.”
Yoga for Living Well (great for those 55+)
For active adults that may need a little more support. As we get older, muscles tend to stiffen, our joints lose their range of motion and we become more susceptible to chronic problems such as lower back pain, osteoporosis and arthritis. Yoga can help by strengthening muscles and joints, increasing flexibility, keeping the mind alert and encouraging relaxation. We’ll introduce you to the language of yoga, fundamental yoga postures, body awareness and breath work. Participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor (chairs are available and often used).
A workshop “style” class that delves deeply into the physical component of yoga; the postures or asanas (the third limb of the 8 Limbs of Yoga). Work towards mastery of level I asanas such as chaturanga dandasana (low plank), adho mukha svanasana (downward facing dog), and uttanasana (forward fold). These foundational postures are the building blocks for more “advanced” asanas, which will also be explored. Each week, a new pose and theme will be introduced for the 60min vinyasa portion of class. Next, Q&A, partner support, and lots and lots of demos! End with a short meditation, chakra tuning and traditional Tibetan singing bowls.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow
A traditional approach to the Vinyasa yoga style. Like a Vinyasa class, each movement is synchronized with breath. Expect traditional asana (poses) and sequences: sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, backbends, and an opportunity to learn/practice inversions. Great class for anyone who is interested in learning more about Ashtanga Vinyasa. Open to all experience levels (even beginners)! Individual modifications will be available.
Skills + Drills (level 2/3)
Explore more ‘advanced’ postures and increasingly creative sequencing and transitions. Most important of all, an intermediate/advanced level practitioner is willing to modify their practice from one day to the next according to what their body tells them is intelligent and safe. approx class temp: ~85-92+ degrees.
Astanga Mysore (see Mysore page for details)
Mysore room is open for ~two hours. Each student learns a set sequence of postures that is appropriate and customized for them and as they commit the sequence to memory. The practice grows in length and challenge, gradually until the series is complete and they begin the next series. Each practice includes standing postures, back bends and a closing sequence consisting of inversions, pranayama and seated meditation; followed by rest. Come as you are… no need to prepare or memorize anything beforehand.
Express Flow (50 min)
Make the most of your lunch break! Enjoy an invigorating midday yoga class to keep you going all day long. This class is just like our Flow classes, but designed to get you in and out, and back to your desk, kids, errands, and other daily activities (with a clear mind and strong body!).
We never want cost to be a barrier to your yoga practice. We strive to make yoga accessible to everyone by offering lower price classes on our regular, weekly schedule. We offer many $5-10 community classes throughout the week. Check online for individual class details. Please note that all of our community classes regularly sell out. Online sign up is highly encouraged.

Yoga Fundamentals (Level 1):

These classes are designed to introduce new and continuing students to the foundations of alignment, breathwork, primary poses, sequences and variations. Level 1/2 is intended for the student who has practiced yoga before, and is good for the student who wants to build on their yoga practice. If you are brand new to yoga, we recommend starting with the Yoga Fundamentals class.
These classes are open to all levels of practice. Your teacher will give you options and modifications throughout the class. More complex poses may be introduced for advanced students, while beginners can work at their own level and work towards what’s next! If you are brand new to yoga, we recommend starting with the Yoga Fundamentals class, but this is not required and there is no previous experience needed to enjoy an all level class. Please note: our classes are “all levels” unless otherwise noted.
Level 2/3 classes are designed for intermediate to advanced practitioners. We recommend that you have a solid practice and understanding of intermediate yoga postures and breathing techniques. These classes are exciting, challenging and great for those who are ready to take it to the next level.
Warm Candlelight is ~80degrees. Heated classes range from ~85-92 degrees. Hot Power is ~92+ degrees.
