Repped
What is Repped?
It is our sacred duty to make yoga accessible and welcoming for all. As part of our continuing efforts, we offer programs celebrating underrepresented communities: Repped.
Repped classes and programs are led by and will center members of these communities. It will be a time for people to celebrate and recharge in a space dedicated to themselves. Allies are welcome to join in practice, joy, and unity.

About Everything Else is Noise – [LO DEMÁS ES RUIDO]
Independent Mexican auteur Nicolás Pereda fashions a playful chamber piece, a biting comedy that gleefully skewers avant-garde musicians, filmmakers and especially the male ego. Tere (Teresita Sánchez) is an established musician and composer who never quite got the recognition she deserved, always living in the shadow of her male colleagues. But she is happy to play host to fellow composer Rosa (Rosa Estela Juárez), who is set for her first television interview and in need of a camera-ready background. However, when the hapless crew arrive (Pereda regulars Lázaro G. Rodríguez and Francisco Barreiro), nothing goes as planned. A dog barks, the power cuts out and Tere’s spirited daughter, another musician, keeps inserting herself. But as the afternoon wears on, the three women find common ground, laying bare the ridiculous posturing of their interviewers and the art world at large. –Josh Gardner
Official Selection, 2026 Berlin, Toronto and New York film festivals. DIR/SCR Nicolás Pereda; SCR Juan Francisco Maldonado; PROD Catalina Pereda. Mexico/Germany/Canada, 2026.
In Spanish with English subtitles. Run Time: 71 Minutes. NOT RATED.
Sun, Nov 15th: Vinyasa Flow in ASL (American Sign Language) with Ethan Zimmerman
This yoga class is taught in American Sign Language only; no spoken English interpretation will be provided (music may be played). Vinyasa means to move your body in special ways. Flow refers to our efforts to match our breath with these movements. This class will offer accessible sequences that emphasize strength, balance, and flexibility, all while cultivating the breath. Come, move and breathe, and walk out feeling better than you arrived. This class is beginner-friendly.
Though this class is taught in ASL and using physical demonstration, all hearing statuses are welcome; we just ask that this environment be kept Deaf friendly, so please be willing to leave your voices at the door.

It’s been an absolute honor to be Reppin’ since 2022.

About Us

Repped was born in 2021 out of a shared mission by the three founders, Arlet Koseian-Beckham, Zahra Abbassi, and Ayanna Wells: to redefine what inclusion looks like in the wellness space.
Recognizing that wellness needs are as diverse as our communities, Repped strives to provide the space and tools to make wellness accessible. We bring this to life through classes, workshops, training, and community events. The studio boutique curates items and artwork that uplift and spotlight creators from marginalized communities.
What began as a short-term idea has grown into a powerful movement—and there’s much more ahead.
“Showcasing local artists is deeply important to me. Sharing their talent with our community is impactful and inspiring. I look forward to every exhibition. -Arlet, RYT200, owner & founder of extendYoga
“Mental and physical wellness are human rights. That’s why creating Repped mattered to me. By centering diverse voices, challenging norms, and removing barriers to access, we’re not just making wellness more inclusive- we are reimagining a future where wellness belongs to all of us.” -Zahra, RYT500
“Working in research and healthcare has taught me that seeing people who can empathize with your experience makes a world of difference. Safe spaces become safer as a result.” -Ayanna, RYT500
