First time visit tips

Not sure where to start? Create an account online here before visiting the studio.  View our schedule and pick the classes you want to reserve.

We’ve got a great New Student Special (2 weeks unlimited classes for $20), so you can try a bunch of different classes/teachers.  Let us know how it goes!

During/after your “New Student Special,” we’ve got lots of class pass and membership options (including a reduced rate Monthly Membership if you sign up during your first two weeks.  More info here).

Tell us what’s up? (injuries, health concerns, etc)

Please let your instructor know if you have any injuries or special health concerns before class begins.

What should I wear & where can I leave my stuff?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move without constriction. Leave your shoes, socks and all your belongings in the changing room, cubbies or locked out of sight in your car.

Can I eat before class?

Eat lightly and hydrate properly. Give yourself an hour to digest any food and make sure to drink water before and after class (especially for heated classes).

Honor our (*your*) space

Please be respectful of everyone’s mat and personal space.  Classes may be in session when you arrive; be mindful and keep your voice low.

Cell phones ~ Help us keep the peace

Please, no cell phones in the studio (even if they are off).  If you need to make or take a call before/after class, please do so outside.  If you must bring your phone into the studio, please turn off or silence it.

Reserving online

To secure a spot in your favorite classes, we encourage you to reserve ahead of time. To reserve, visit our online scheduler: Online Scheduler.  If a class is sold out, no problem! You can add yourself to an online waitlist, which will reserve you automatically if/when a spot opens up.

Arriving to class & waitlists

Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled class to give yourself unrushed time to check-in and get settled before class starts. We will hold your reservation until 5 minutes before class start time. If you are not there, we will give up your spot to those who may be waiting/on waitlist.

Cancelling class reservations

Can’t make it to a class that you pre-reserved? No worries. Do us a favor and cancel at least 2 hours before class starts. We currently do not have a strict cancellation policy (YAY!) and won’t charge you for the missed class, but please make space for those who may be waiting to get into class and cancel ahead of time. We will hold your spot until 5 minutes before class start time. If you are not there, we will give up your spot to those who may be waiting/on waitlist.

Mats, towels & water

Bring a mat and towel to class (we offer mat and towel rentals for $2 each).  Bring water with you (we have water fountains for you too).

Heated Classes

We offer heated/not heated classes. Choose the classes that are right for you!  If you are taking “heated” or “hot” classes or tend to sweat a lot, towels are required (help protect our floors and avoid anyone slipping/injuries).  We have rental towels available for $2.

Community Classes (reduced rate classes)

We strive to make yoga accessible by offering weekly consciously affordable classes and we never want cost to be a barrier to your yoga practice.  Please note that our community classes regularly sell out. $5 Friday classes are $5.50 ONLINE. Online sign up is highly encouraged as you may not get a spot otherwise. If you walk-in in without pre-sign up, $5 cash, please.

Expired passes/workshops & refunds

Please log into your online account to check expiration dates of your classes and pass(es). All class passes and workshops are non-refundable and cannot be shared. Pre-registration is required for most workshops.  We regret that workshop/events are non-refundable and non-transferable. We know ‘life’ happens. Bringing your kids to class (sorry, no babysitting)

Your family is our family! However, we request that children under the age of 12 do not come to (adult) classes. Children ages 12-15 may come to class accompanied by a parent. Parents will need to sign off on waiver forms for children under the age of 18 (either in person or online when signing up). If it’s your child’s yoga class, please take the time to familiarize them with what they might expect in a studio setting and basic poses. Please do not have your kid(s) wait in the lobby while you are in class; we can’t be responsible for them. Make sure to check our schedule for kids specific classes & camps!
