Arlet Koseian-Beckham(she/her)
Owner & Founder, Repped Co-Founder, Teacher Training
After accidentally discovering hot yoga classes in NYC, Arlet realized how important yoga became to her in order to de-stress and clear her mind. It soon became apparent that this was a lifestyle she wanted to lead for more than just an hour a day, and the idea of opening her very own yoga studio became a reality. She is currently the owner & founder of extendYoga, which has been serving Montgomery County, MD for over a decade. extendYoga has been consecutively voted “Best Yoga Studio” – Bethesda Magazine Readers’ Pick, since 2017.
In addition to her love for yoga, Arlet is passionate about community building, outreach, and committed to social responsibility and social justice. She served on the board of DCCY (DC Community Yoga) for seven years, which planned the largest annual outdoor yoga event: Yoga on the Mall; attracting over 10,000 practitioners in the DMV, while also raising funds for local non-profit organizations.
Arlet loves sharing her experiences, talents, and fun loving personality with her team. She’s also a proud first-generation Armenian who is trilingual (Armenian, Turkish, English), and hopes to share the Armenian culture (and food!) as much as she can with her two young boys; Levon and Avo. When she’s not in the studio, you might find her playing with her kids, creating art, hanging with her husband John, or supporting her Maryland Terrapins.
