Jan has been a fitness and yoga instructor for over 30 years. She has a vast athletic background and incorporates elements of Anusara, Vinyasa, and Kundalini yoga as well as modern dance in her classes without losing a sense of lightheartedness and fun. Her devout study of yoga began after experiencing transformative effects from practicing as a student.She is grateful for her teachers, Doug Keller, Joe Roberson, Simon Park, Shiva Rea, Kim Groark, Lauren Peterson and Faith Hunter. She has over 5000 hours teaching experience, recently received her 500 Hour RYT as well as a 200 ERYT and continues to find passion for the study of Yoga and meditation daily. Her passion for teaching yoga stemmed from the affect yoga has had meeting challenges in her own life while maintaining focus, clarity, and balance. Everyday she is reminded of how powerful the practice can be mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually and has devoted her life to helping others capture this, even in the smallest of ways through the practice of Yoga.
